OFM Impact: the AI-powered platform designed to measure and optimise ESG impact in facility management.
Bologna – OFM Impact, an advanced digital platform designed to measure, analyse and optimise the environmental and social impact of operations, processes and services within facility management contracts, has been unveiled in Bologna.
The solution has been developed to support organisations in their sustainability transition, enabling structured ESG data management and more effective, transparent and verifiable sustainability reporting.
OFM Impact: Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Facility Management
The OFM Impact project, led by CNS – Cooperativa Nazionale Servizi, a major facility management organisation headquartered in Bologna, was developed with contributions from the University of Bologna and technology partners bringing advanced innovation expertise.
As part of the project, Sapiens Analytics contributed to the development of the platform's Artificial Intelligence capabilities, drawing on its expertise in data analytics and predictive modelling to make sustainability measurable, manageable and actionable.
From ESG Reporting to Continuous Impact Management
The OFM Impact platform enables the structured collection of information from internal processes, IoT devices, management systems and external data sources.
This information is processed through intelligent modules that automatically generate environmental and social KPIs, making them accessible through interactive dashboards and integrated reporting tools.
By combining Artificial Intelligence, data analytics and ESG monitoring, the platform enables organisations to move beyond conventional sustainability reporting towards continuous impact management.
This approach provides practical tools to monitor ESG performance, identify critical issues, anticipate future developments and plan targeted improvement initiatives.
The result is a more data-driven approach to sustainable facility management, in which environmental and social performance can be systematically measured, assessed and optimised across operational activities.
An Innovation Project Supported by NextGenerationEU
The initiative is co-financed by the BI-REX Competence Centre through programmes supported by NextGenerationEU, specifically under Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Mission 4, Component 2 – Investment 2.3.
Through its contribution to OFM Impact, Sapiens Analytics demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence and predictive analytics can support the integration of sustainability objectives into operational management, helping organisations translate ESG data into measurable performance indicators and informed decisions.
